Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma. Legend Biotech is seeking Senior Manager Sales Operations & Data Scientist as part of the Commercial team based in Somerset, NJ. The role of Senior Manager, Sales Operations/Data Scientist encompasses conducting comprehensive and insightful analytics to support decision-making throughout the organization. This entails developing and implementing data models and visualizations that effectively portray the performance of Legend's CAR-T Operations and sales force, thereby identifying areas for optimization. The position requires a proactive approach to providing strategic direction to our sales organization based on data-driven insights. In addition, the individual will contribute to incentive compensation modeling and resolving intricate business problems using advanced analytical techniques and internal and external data sources. Regular interaction with other cross-functional business units is integral to the role, as is the ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable dealing with structured and unstructured real-world data, with a natural curiosity that facilitates rapid learning of Legend's business model and data infrastructure. As an integral team member, the Senior Manager will collaborate closely with other data professionals to support decision-making and drive business results. The ideal candidate will establish operational objectives and work plans to determine success of operations. They will be involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect. The position necessitates a high level of analytical ability, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Manager, Sales Operations/Data Scientist role at Legend requires technical proficiency and strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The individual must be able to analyze complex data sets and extract meaningful insights to inform business strategies. In addition to conducting analytical work, this role involves collaboration with various teams across the organization. Key Responsibilities include utilizing statistical predictive models, leveraging machine learning techniques, creating dashboards and self-serve capabilities for sales optimization, driving big data and advanced analytics initiatives, communicating findings effectively, knowledge of master data management and governance, data quality measurement and monitoring, developing and maintaining data architecture documentation, driving data architecture decisions, monitoring and optimizing field team structure, leading incentive compensation program, collaborating with Sr Manager, Data & Analytics, and regular interaction with senior management. Requirements include a university degree (B.A./B.S.) with preference for life science, informatics, or healthcare management, 8+ years Pharma/Biotech experience or equivalent, hematology/oncology knowledge preferred, experience with machine learning and programming languages, experience with remote field employees, Power BI skills, strong communication and negotiation skills, knowledge of U.S. healthcare environment preferred, and ability to work in complex, rapidly changing environments. Travel up to 25% domestic is required.
